"Trying to follow and leave traces of Jesus"
(Book in process of creation)
"The Origin of Arts"
Prayer Request!
After more than 15 years, since the idea of transmitting a message of Jesus through designs and paintings, I found myself one morning in my art studio, looking back in time, reviewing experiences and artistic reflections, and I was surprised by the fact, how many aspects of God I had experienced doing this artistic work and how many very deep points of contact there are between God and art. And then began to grow in me, the purpose of writing this book, (which is still in process of unfolding), to transmit some of the points, which I had the privilege to experience about the many connections that human arts have, with the indisputable creativity of our God.
God's creativity, without a doubt, far exceeds any attempt to imitate him, even today with AI (artificial intelligence).
Now, this book not only wants to refer to the creativity of combining colors and shapes with materials, techniques and specific skills, but also and above all, it wants to focus on the expressive and communicative part, the heart and essence from where it is born and what gives life and meaning to a work, the connection of the author with that work, the value of it, all deeply related to the sensations, emotions and the thinking and feeling of a living being.
Represented in this case mainly in God's prime work, "Jesus", the greatest artistic expression that already existed. This book will include points such as:
- God and the origin of art
- The essence of art
- The value of an original
- Unique and personal
- God and the authorship of a work
- The relationship between an author and his work
- The pain of a broken work
- A copy
- Light and darkness
- Inspiration, expression, worship
- God and art, in the age of AI
- There is more in him than you can see
- Jesus, the masterpiece
We appreciate your prayers that this book will be finished, see the light of day and be useful, leaving an imprint of Christ in the lives of those who read it.
Thank you very much!
